Job Details

The Senior Financial Analyst will support the growth of our client. As part of the Finance organization, you will build and maintain collaborative partnerships with Operations and Finance teams to strategically run financial planning and analysis of product cost, inventory, fixed assets and supply chain to provide reliable and relevant information to improve the Company’s financial performance. This is a role for a thorough individual who thrives in a dynamic, growth environment. This role reports to Corporate Controller.

Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with finance, business operations, and manufacturing teams in establishing financial performance from the perspective of product costs, inventory, and supply chain management
Analyze and model product costs, inventory-on-hand, supply, and purchase commitments for forecasts, as well as effective decision-making of manufacturing volumes and timing
Partner with Finance and other team members in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes related to manufacturing processes and fixed assets. Also assist in the establishment, maintenance and monitoring of annual material and process cost standards and budgets.
Coordinate the preparation and analyses of reports to track cost variances, inventory adjustments and other cost items such as scrap, shortage, and obsolete inventory. Prepare and analyze various inventory and cost of sales reports for management and auditors. Examples include information concerning costing, price, scrap, and manufacturing expenses.
Develop, maintain and analyze data related to fixed assets, construction in progress and manufacturing start-up costs
Complete general ledger and intercompany reconciliations. Support continuous improvement for increased efficiency. Develop other relevant ad hoc analyses related to manufacturing or supply chain. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or similar and five (5) years in manufacturing cost accounting experience.
Understanding of U.S. GAAP as it applies to a manufacturing environment is required.
Solid understanding of inventory manufacturing, supply chain, and operational flows and processes
Experience using NetSuite, or other ERP, and familiarity using inventory and scheduling modules within an ERP system; proficiency with MS Excel and related office software
Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail and accuracy, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams (Production, Engineering, FP&A, etc.)
