We are seeking a seasoned Senior Healthcare Attorney with a strong background in medical malpractice. The successful candidate will join our dynamic team of legal professionals and will provide advice and representation to healthcare providers in a range of legal issues. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in the legal field, with a particular emphasis on healthcare law.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Healthcare Attorney, your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing legal advice and representation to healthcare providers in matters related to medical malpractice, healthcare law, and regulatory compliance.
2. Conducting thorough and detailed legal research to support case preparation and to stay updated on current laws and regulations.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents.
4. Advising clients on risk management and best practices to avoid potential legal issues.
5. Representing clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in legal proceedings.
6. Collaborating with a team of legal professionals to strategize and work on complex legal issues.
7. Maintaining client relationships and developing new client relationships.
8. Providing training and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Healthcare Attorney position will have the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of five years of experience as a practicing attorney, with significant experience in healthcare law and medical malpractice.
3. Admission to the state bar.
4. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
5. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
6. Ability to handle a large workload and juggle multiple priorities.
7. Demonstrated ability to provide sound legal advice and representation.
8. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
9. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
10. Proficiency in legal research software and other relevant computer applications.
