As a Consulting Senior Income Tax Analyst, you will be the cornerstone of our financial operations, ensuring compliance with the latest tax laws, planning for future tax policies, and maintaining the financial health of our organization. This role is not just about crunching numbers, it's about providing strategic tax advice that shapes the financial future of our company. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review federal proforma and state income tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
2. Perform estimated tax payment calculations and ensure timely and accurate payments.
3. Analyze and interpret tax regulations, provide guidance on tax implications, and develop strategies to minimize tax liability.
4. Conduct research on various tax matters, develop tax planning strategies, and provide recommendations based on findings.
5. Collaborate with other departments to understand business operations and provide tax advice.
6. Assist in tax audits and inquiries by governmental authorities.
7. Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
8. Work with multiple states, understanding their unique tax laws and regulations, and applying this knowledge to our business operations.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in income tax consulting, with a focus on multi-state income tax.
3. Thorough knowledge of federal and state income tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
4. Experience with federal proforma return view, state tax return review, and estimated payment calculations.
5. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret tax laws and regulations, and apply this knowledge to various business scenarios.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
8. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
