Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage workload and workflow related to individual and business tax return preparation
  • Direct client engagement and advisory for tax-related questions and planning
  • Support and guide staff members in preparing and reviewing tax filings
  • Collaborate directly with the shareholder/partner on client matters
  • Ensure timeliness and quality control of return filings
  • Work with clients across agriculture, construction, restaurants, and small businesses
  • Handle QuickBooks-based accounting when needed

You should have most of the following:
  • CPA license preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of tax accounting experience; 6+ years strongly preferred
  • Experience managing tax return workload across individual and business clients
  • Strong background in QuickBooks and public accounting
  • Proven ability to interact with clients and explain tax strategies
  • Prior experience mentoring or answering tax questions for staff
  • Ability to work in-person in Hermiston, OR (relocation support implied)
