Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with maintaining and improving upon awareness methods and
documentation to include
o USSS Safety Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions
and Forms
o Internal Safety Website
o Regulatory required and internally developed posters for awareness
  • Assist with EHS Newsletter development
  • Assist with training course development and implementation for USSS
  • Support the Forklift Training Program at RTC and other locations as needed
  • Perform safety building walkthroughs, track issues and facilitate resolution at
various locations in conjunction with the Environmental Program personnel
  • Act as or reviews with SME, employee inquiries and concerns regarding safety
aspects for USSS
  • Perform life safety inspections, tracking issues and facilitating resolution to include
eyewash/safety showers, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers at RTC
  • Assist with the implementation of the Hazard Communication Program to include
maintaining chemical inventories, tracking training and overall compliance
  • Assist with Industrial Hygiene Program to include
o Maintaining testing schedule
o Arranging testing at various locations
o Assisting with testing (noise, air sampling, ventilation, surface wipe, etc.),
reporting and tracking data
o Maintaining equipment list and calibration requirements
  • Assist with FIT testing and support the Respiratory Protection Program
  • Support metrics development and reporting for accident/incident data and other
aspects of the Accident/Incident Investigation Program
  • Stay abreast of OSHA and other safety requirements
  • Support the Hearing Conservation Program
  • Support the Environmental Program as needed

Qualifications
  • The contractor shall possess a minimum of 5 years experience working in safety or
industrial hygiene, and a BS degree is required for this position.
  • The contractor employee shall provide a resume along with a letter of commitment.
