Our prestigious law firm is seeking a dedicated and passionate Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position where the right candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of cases. The successful candidate will be someone who not only thrives in a fast-paced environment but also enjoys the challenges and rewards that come with handling complex legal issues. Responsibilities:
  • Handle all aspects of civil litigation, including conducting discovery, drafting pleadings, attending court appearances, arguing motions, and managing mediations and arbitrations.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to develop legal arguments and draft highly complex motions and briefs.
  • Provide legal advice to clients and conduct negotiations for legal matters.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and understand their business to serve their legal needs better.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trials.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and stay updated on the latest changes in laws and legal practices.
  • Participate in business development activities such as client meetings, seminars, and conferences.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, preferably in Insurance Defense
  • Must be a member in good standing of the state bar.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of civil litigation.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle a high-volume workload and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
