Job Details
We have an immediate need for a Senior Interior Designer with 8 + years of experience. This person will work alongside the existing Department Head and must have experience supervising staff, delegating workload, in addition strong design and technical abilities.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or equivalent education/job experience
- 8+ years' of Interior design experience in Corporate Interiors/Workplace, Public Projects, and Tenant Improvement Projects
- Proficient in Adobe Suite, Revit, and AutoCAD Required. (SketchUp and Enscape preferred, not required)
- Must have experience supervising staff and delegating workload.
- NCIDQ Certification Desired, Not Required.
- Designing and managing complex commercial projects is a plus
- Design documentation using Revit software for all phases of design
- Assist Dept. Head with Project Coordination, Management, Supervising Staff, and Delegating Workload
- Furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) selection & specifications using Spexx software
- Submittal and shop drawing review
- Technical proficiency and a strong design sense and creativity
- Ability to work with limited oversight, while juggling multiple projects & tasks
- Strong team collaboration and ability to mentor junior staff
- Excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills
- Strong desire to continue to grow in their own professional development
