Job Details

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accountant within our corporate inventory team with the ability to thrive in our fast paced, growing organization. This individual must be able to identify and resolve problems both independently and as a part of a team.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all aspects of inventory accounting; standard costing, transfers/eliminations, reserve calculations and physicals across multiple product lines
  • Responsible for scoping, coordination and monitoring of inventory physicals; finished goods, work in process, raw materials, parts and supplies
  • Serves as primary contact for field assistance; JDE processing/setup, reporting, best practices and policy
  • Prepare internal and external reporting and analysis for all inventory reporting
  • Conduct account analysis, including researching and explaining fluctuations
  • Analyze data for costing and determine the proper treatment across all product lines
  • Prepare account reconciliations
  • Prepare and maintain monthly accruals and allocations across multiple divisions
  • Evaluate and recommend new approaches and procedures that result in process improvements and efficiencies
  • Work in cross-functional teams to ensure inventory policies and procedures are consistently being followed
  • Ensure compliance with all internal processes
  • Work closely with internal and external auditors
  • Complete ad-hoc reporting and analysis

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA highly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
  • Prior construction, mining or manufacturing accounting experience preferred
