Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Labor and Employment (L&E) Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including wage and hour, discrimination, Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), class actions, PAGA Representative Actions, and complex litigation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience handling complex litigation and employment litigation. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile cases and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior L&E Attorney, your duties will include:

1. Representing clients in a wide range of labor and employment matters including wage and hour disputes, discrimination claims, PAGA, and class actions.
2. Handling PAGA Representative Actions and complex litigation, including developing case strategy, conducting discovery, and presenting cases in court.
3. Providing legal advice and guidance on employment law issues, including compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
4. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment contracts and other legal documents.
5. Conducting legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
6. Collaborating with team members to ensure a comprehensive approach to client service and case management.
7. Keeping up-to-date with changes in labor and employment law and advising clients accordingly.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience handling complex litigation and employment litigation.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience in wage and hour, discrimination, PAGA, class actions, and PAGA Representative Actions.
4. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex legal information clearly and persuasively.
6. Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful case outcomes.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
8. Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar association.
9. Strong commitment to ethical legal practice and professional conduct.
