We are working with a well known, successful plaintiff personal injury law firm in Houston that is seeking both Junior and Senior Legal Assistants to join their team!
Job Location: ONSITE (Memorial Park/Rice Military area)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p, 8:30a-5:30p, or 9a-6p) - some OT required when deadlines are due

Job Details
Legal Assistant:
- 10+ years’ experience with personal injury litigation
- Hybrid of traditional legal secretary and paralegal roles
- Experience managing attorney(s) calendar, coordinating depositions, mediations, and hearings with multiple parties, mediators, and court staff
- Experience drafting DCOs, legal correspondence, deposition notices, calculating and docketing deadlines, and e-filing in state and federal courts
- Organization of legal documents and preparation of binders for court hearings
- Must be familiar with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Pro
- Must be available for after-hours e-filing as needed
