Job Details

An international law firm is seeking a skilled Senior Litigation Associate to join its Dispute Resolution team in San Francisco. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-value disputes involving commercial, insurance, maritime, and transportation matters.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage all phases of litigation and arbitration, from pre-trial to resolution
  • Handle federal and state insurance claims, including coverage and indemnity issues
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda
  • Take and defend depositions; represent clients in court
  • Contribute to business development through writing, networking, and events

What We’re Looking For:
  • J.D. and active California Bar membership
  • 7–10 years of litigation experience in a law firm environment
  • Experience with insurance defense, broker liability, and FAAAA preemption
  • Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with managing complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes
