Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Senior Attorney to join our team in a full-time, in-office role. This position is ideal for a well-rounded legal professional with a proven track record across multiple general practice areas and an established book of business.
Responsibilities:
Manage and grow a personal portfolio of clients in one or more general practice areas such as oil and gas, real estate, labor and employment, estate planning and probate, health law, business and corporate law, transaction and entity formation, construction law and litigation.
Provide strategic legal counsel and representation to clients from intake through resolution
Collaborate with fellow attorneys and legal support staff to deliver high-quality, cost-effective legal solutions
Maintain high ethical standards and ensure compliance with all legal and firm guidelines
Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to a positive and professional team culture
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice in Texas
8+ years of legal experience, ideally in a law firm setting
Portable book of business required (minimum threshold to be discussed)
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Must work onsite at our Corpus Christi or San Antonio office
2000 billable hours suggested
