Seeking an exceptional Toolmaker/Machine Builder with a background in the rubber and plastics industry to join our dynamic team. As a Toolmaker/Machine Builder, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and constructing the machinery that keeps our company running smoothly. You will be a part of a team that values innovation, quality, and attention to detail. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to combine your hands-on technical skills with your knowledge of the Accounting + Finance industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, construct, and repair a variety of complex tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for various operations.
2. Operate and maintain CNC machines, ensuring the highest level of safety and efficiency.
3. Perform MIG and TIG welding tasks as required.
4. Collaborate with the engineering team in the development of new tools and equipment.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and equipment to minimize downtime.
6. Implement and ensure adherence to maintenance schedules for tools and machinery.
7. Use Microsoft Office suite to maintain accurate records of machine operations, maintenance, and repairs.
8. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to increase overall efficiency and productivity.
9. Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Toolmaker/Machine Builder, preferably in Manufacturing Industry.
2. Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
3. Extensive experience with CNC machine operation and maintenance.
4. Familiarity with the manufacturing process of plastic or rubber products.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
9. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a relevant field is a plus.
10. Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and standing for extended periods.
