Our organization is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Manager for Quality Assurance in the Food Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing procedures, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions. This role requires a seasoned professional who is well versed in HACCP, Corrective Actions, CAPA, Food Safety Audits, and GFSI. This is a pivotal role within our organization and offers a unique opportunity to shape and drive the quality assurance strategy of our manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing procedures, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions. This role requires a seasoned professional who is well versed in HACCP, Corrective Actions, CAPA, Food Safety Audits, and GFSI. This is a pivotal role within our organization and offers a unique opportunity to shape and drive the quality assurance strategy of our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
- Set and manage quality assurance objectives aligned with company strategy.
- Lead and conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with HACCP, CAPA, and GFSI guidelines.
- Establish procedures and quality standards and monitor these against agreed targets.
- Investigate product issues and implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, operations, and supply chain teams to drive quality improvements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the quality assurance team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes that impact our manufacturing operations.
- Report to executive management on quality assurance metrics and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior quality assurance role within the food manufacturing industry.
- Extensive knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods, and processes.
- Proficiency in HACCP, Corrective Actions, CAPA, Food Safety Audits, and GFSI.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and safety codes.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and quality assurance applications.
