Job Details
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing process, from design to delivery, ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects in the engineering industry, with a particular focus on aerospace, energy, and safety.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
2. Analyzing and planning work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designing layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
3. Assuring product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished- product and process capabilities, and establishing standards to confirm the manufacturing process.
4. Overseeing maintenance operations, including the troubleshooting and resolution of equipment malfunctions.
5. Applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials to improve manufacturing processes.
6. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards in all manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Manufacturing Engineer role will have the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably within the aerospace or energy sectors.
3. Demonstrated experience in maintenance operations and troubleshooting.
4. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
5. Proven experience in design and optimization of manufacturing processes.
6. Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for design, analysis, and troubleshooting.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
