As a Materials Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and testing new materials, analyzing and improving existing materials, and ensuring that all materials meet our high standards of quality and performance. This is a challenging and exciting role that requires a deep understanding of ceramics, materials, raw material testing, and scientific principles.

- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Ceramics, or a related field (Master's / PhD preferred)
- Industry experience with Aerospace/Defense/ITAR/Medical
- 9+ years of experience in ceramics, materials, or a related field
- Potential to obtain a government security clearance
- Strong knowledge of scientific principles and research methods
- Experience with raw material testing and analysis
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with advanced scientific equipment and techniques
- Ability to write technical reports and present findings to management and other stakeholders
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development activities to create new materials that meet our specific needs and requirements
- Analyze and improve existing materials to enhance their performance, durability, and reliability
- Perform raw material testing to ensure that all materials meet our quality standards
- Collaborate with other scientists and engineers to develop new products and improve existing ones
- Use advanced scientific equipment and techniques to analyze and test materials
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in materials science and technology
- Write technical reports and present findings to management and other stakeholders
