Our client has an immediate opening for a Combustion Engineer to support product engineering development programs. The Engineer's goal is to be the technical lead on projects to develop the combustion subsystems of our thermionic power generation products.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer position will have the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an asset.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the engineering industry.
3. Proficiency in 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
4. Demonstrated experience in product development, from concept through to manufacturing.
5. Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and quality control methods.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Professional Engineering (PE) certification is preferred but not required.
10. A passion for innovation and a drive to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry.
