We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer with power utility experience to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers the unique opportunity to work in the exciting intersection of accounting and finance industry. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the design, analysis, and maintenance of mechanical systems in hydroelectric plants. This role is perfect for a self-starter with a strong background in Solidworks, AutoCAD, and a Bachelor's degree in engineering.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Designing, analyzing, and maintaining mechanical systems in hydroelectric plants in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
2. Utilizing software tools such as Solidworks and AutoCAD to create detailed 3D models and designs for mechanical equipment.
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions for complex mechanical engineering problems.
4. Providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
5. Conducting reliability analysis and risk assessments of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
6. Participating in project planning and management, including cost estimation, budgeting, and scheduling.
7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including environmental and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Senior Mechanical Engineer position, you must have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the power utility sector.
3. Proficiency in Solidworks and AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.
4. Demonstrated experience in the design, analysis, and maintenance of mechanical systems in hydroelectric plants.
5. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
9. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
