Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Senior Mechanical Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. Being the primary technical resource in the field with an emphasis on ESP (Electric Submersible Pump) system management is the main responsibility of this position. This entails overseeing all facet of our ESP dependability, such as organizing the removal and replacement of the ESPs through communication with the several suppliers involved, guaranteeing the caliber of work performed by all related staff members on-site, failure analysis, and enhancement initiatives. Along with managing and ensuring policy compliance, this function assists with the field's PSM obligations, such as MOCs, incident reporting, P&IDs, procedures, and PHAs.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, coordinate, and conduct technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts.
  • Provide technical support to operations and maintenance groups and assist in the resolution of complex mechanical problems.
  • Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) on complex equipment failures and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Review and update Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and other system schematics as needed.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies for the ESP and other mechanical systems.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new systems and equipment, ensuring reliability and maintainability are considered.
  • Conduct reliability tests on 3 phase electrical systems and other equipment.
  • Ensure compliance of Arkansas Oil & Gas commission regulations
  • Monitor ESP reliability and develop strategies to improve performance and extend equipment life.
  • Participate in the development of design and installation specifications and commissioning plans.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Petroleum or Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in manufacturing/production facility (Chemical or Oil/Gas Industry)
  • Proven experience with Electric Submersible Pumps (ESP) for oil and gas, chemical, or mechanical manufacturing industries.
  • Mechanical Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).
  • Familiarity with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
  • Knowledge of 3 phase electrical systems.
  • Working understanding of OSHA, EPA regulations, and Oil & Gas regulations
