We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Oil & Gas Paralegal to join our legal team. This exciting role will allow you to utilize your extensive eDiscovery knowledge and skills in a challenging, fast-paced environment. You will be a vital part of our team, working closely with attorneys and other paralegals to provide comprehensive legal support in the oil and gas industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex legal matters and contribute to our organization's success.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Oil & Gas Paralegal, your responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting extensive eDiscovery tasks, including data collection, processing, review, and production.
2. Assisting in the preparation and filing of legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
3. Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda on various oil and gas law topics.
4. Managing and organizing large volumes of complex documents and coordinating document productions.
5. Assisting with the preparation for depositions, hearings, trials, and corporate meetings.
6. Liaising with clients, counsel, and other parties on matters related to oil and gas.
7. Assisting in the management of oil and gas leases, contracts, and agreements.
8. Ensuring compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Paralegal position should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal in the oil and gas industry.
2. Extensive experience with eDiscovery, including the use of eDiscovery software and tools.
3. A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent is preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of oil and gas law, including leases, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
5. Excellent research and report-writing skills.
6. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms.
7. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
8. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
10. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
