We are a leading manufacturing company that prides itself on creating high-quality products. We are currently seeking a Senior Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to utilize their skills and make a significant impact on our operations.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Operations Specialist, you'll be a key player in driving our manufacturing processes towards perfection. You will be responsible for:
1. Implementing and maintaining Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.
2. Facilitating Kaizen events to promote continuous improvement and eliminate waste in our processes.
3. Developing and implementing safety strategies in collaboration with the EHS and Quality teams to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
4. Utilizing KPIs and OEE to measure and analyze operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
5. Conducting cycle time analysis to optimize production efficiency and reduce downtime.
6. Mentoring and coaching plant employees on CI tools and methodologies to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.
2. A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Black Belt Preferred)
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
4. Proven experience with Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
5. Strong knowledge of KPIs, OEE, and cycle time analysis.
6. Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
7. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
8. A strong commitment to safety and quality.
