Job Details:

Our company is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Permanent Senior Operator to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and improving production processes, contributing to product development, and managing and optimizing technological procedures. The role also involves ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and conducting research to develop new procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification.
  • Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data.
  • Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes.
  • Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
  • Perform process simulations and troubleshooting.
  • Manage cost and time constraints.
  • Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans to meet technical requirements, scheduling, and contract commitments.
  • Participate in risk management, including risk identification, mitigation, and contingency planning.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including personnel from production, maintenance, quality, and other departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering, chemical engineering, or chemical processes.
  • Proven work experience in process engineering, preferably in the chemical or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of process engineering software packages and MS Office.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
  • Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in conducting research and data analysis to improve operational efficiency.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and excellence.
