Job Details
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a paralegal in litigation
- This individual will work with one of the managing partners
- Paralegal certification or degree from an accredited program is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and e-filing in various court systems.
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, rules, and formats.
- Proficient in using legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, commitment to client service, and a passion for the legal industry.
