We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual for a Senior Payroll Specialist role within the medical industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, growing organization where you will lead and manage all aspects of payroll functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate delivery of bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with all legal and contractual obligations. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a high level of integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Payroll Specialist , your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Oversee and manage the preparation, distribution, and reporting processes for bi-weekly payroll.
2. Supervise and mentor payroll team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
3. Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately, meeting all deadlines.
4. Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production.
5. Interpret new legislation impacting payroll and ensure accurate implementation.
6. Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to ensure best practices.
7. Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
8. Collaborate with Human Resources and Accounting teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.
9. Conduct audits of payroll records, benefits or other HR programs, and recommend corrective action.
10. Prepare and present reports to senior management on payroll matters.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the medical industry.
2. Proficient in payroll software, with a strong understanding of payroll and accounting principles.
3. Excellent knowledge of federal and state regulations and requirements pertaining to employee payroll.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
5. High level of integrity and professionalism with the ability to handle confidential information.
6. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to multitask.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data and create meaningful reports.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
