A bit about us:
We’re looking for a Performance Test Engineer to own performance, scalability, and load testing across our platform. This engineer will work closely with backend development teams to simulate complex, high-throughput scenarios and ensure we can scale to meet increasing demand. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Kafka, Java-based systems, and distributed environments, and have a strong background in testing systems that both call out to, and are called by, external services.

Job Details
What You’ll Do:
Design and implement performance and load tests across Java/Spring-based microservices
Analyze system behavior under stress and recommend optimizations
Simulate and test Kafka-based workflows, ensuring robust handling of high-throughput message streams
Partner with dev and DevOps teams to improve observability and performance baselining
Leverage Redis for performance validation of real-time caching layers
Build automation tools and dashboards to continuously monitor system health and test results
What We’re Looking For:
Strong background in Performance, Load, and Scalability Testing
Hands-on experience with Kafka (expert-level) in production-grade systems
Deep understanding of Java/Spring-based architectures
Experience testing systems that act as both producers and consumers of APIs
Familiarity with Redis or similar in-memory datastores
Experience working in high-scale environments (FinTech, AdTech, Gaming, or similar a plus)
Passion for performance optimization and system resilience
