Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Manage technical customer interface in pre and post sales phases, including product promotion, design reviews, integration, troubleshooting, and technical support
  • Drive the roadmap incorporating customer feedback, lessons learned and market trends
  • Develop internal system level reference platforms and assess system level performance of products in such applications as SyncE, 5G fronthaul equipment, 5G Radio Units, GNSS-based timing references etc.
  • Support integration of products in end customer applications, including diagnosis and resolution of customer signal integrity and other performance impairments issues
  • System and component level measurements using measurement equipment such as high-speed oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, phase noise analyzers, frequency counters, specialized SyncE and IEE1588 test-sets.
  • Analyzing data and generating internal and customer facing reports
  • Develop and scale infrastructure and processes for expanding growth
  • Lead technical discussions in industry initiatives and standard bodies (e.g., developing algorithms, driving experiments to advance discussions, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 12+ years of relevant industry experience
  • 5+ years of experience in customer facing role with a focus on timing products and timing architecture
  • Direct experience in semiconductor/system technologies and architectures for telecommunications and data center applications, experience with high-speed serial links.
  • Hands-on experience with electronics laboratory bench instrumentation and timing measurements. Proficiency with high-speed digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, phase noise analyzers, high resolution frequency counters, 1588 and SyncE test sets.
  • Proficiency in measurement automation and data processing with Python and Matlab
  • Good theoretical understanding of digital signal processing, analog and digital circuits
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply appropriate judgement in customer interactions balancing customer needs
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and high level of self-motivation, ownership, and drive to make an impact
  • Ability to see projects on a bigger scale and have vision that extends past short-term deliverables. System level approach with broad cross functional project view.
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
