The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in wastewater treatment and process engineering. This is a permanent role that will require the successful candidate to contribute to the design and implementation of wastewater treatment systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement process strategies for wastewater treatment systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team, including the preparation and review of technical system diagrams, project documentation, and engineering plans.
- Conduct thorough and detailed functional reviews of all systems and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Collaborate with project teams, providing expert advice and guidance on all aspects of process engineering and wastewater treatment design.
- Use CAD software to create detailed engineering plans and diagrams, ensuring all designs meet the highest standards of accuracy and quality.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, ensuring all processes and systems are fully compliant with relevant regulations.
- Provide ongoing support to the engineering team, assisting with troubleshooting and problem-solving as necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on wastewater treatment.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
- Extensive knowledge of technical system diagrams, project documentation, and engineering plans.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in relation to wastewater treatment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and quality in all work.
