Job Details
Responsibilities:
Assist with the production of construction plans for various projects, including residential, commercial, and municipal infrastructure design
Design full set of Construction Documents with minimal design supervision
Coordinate with internal team members as needed on plan production
Design stormwater detention
Design water quality
Provide markups and direction to designers
Coordinate project design with outside consultants and architects
Resolve design conflicts; perform accountability reviews
Assist in developing project scopes and schedules when needed
Analyze and design utility, grading, paving, and drainage infrastructure
Coordinate project design with outside consultants and architects
Perform site visits to verify field conditions and monitor construction
Review and process contractor submittals
Prepare site investigation and development feasibility reports
Maintain project documentation
Communicate and maintain good client communication
Provide guidance and mentoring for entry level staff members
Perform quantity takeoffs, shop drawing review, and prepare bid specifications
Perform quality control reviews of design projects
Present projects to clients, agencies, municipalities, and the general public
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam
Passing the Professional Engineer exam
4-6 years of experience
Excellent time management skills, organizational and communication abilities
