We are a Top ENR company seeking a Sr Project Engineer to support heavy civil infrastructure projects, including transportation, utilities, and design-build work. This role functions as a key support between the field and project management.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project execution from preconstruction through closeout on heavy civil projects
  • Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Track quantities, production, and costs to ensure alignment with project budgets and schedules
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, including scope, performance, and cost tracking
  • Participate in project meetings with owners, engineers, and internal stakeholders
  • Assist with scheduling, procurement, and project controls
  • Support QA/QC processes and ensure work aligns with project plans and specifications

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred
  • 5-7+ years of experience in heavy civil construction or related infrastructure projects
  • Experience working on DOT, transportation, utilities, water, mining, or site development projects
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project controls, and field operations
  • Experience with design-build projects is preferred
