We are currently seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Senior Project Engineer to join our high-performing team. This role will be a key player in the engineering department, contributing to the successful delivery of water and wastewater projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, with a keen understanding of Procore, P6, Microsoft Office, and RFI. With a minimum of 5+ years of experience, the ideal candidate will be ready to take on the challenge of leading and managing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will:

1. Lead and manage engineering projects, particularly in the water and wastewater sector, from inception to completion.
2. Use your proficiency in Procore, P6, and Microsoft Office to optimize project delivery, ensuring all work is completed on time and within budget.
3. Develop and maintain project schedules, cost estimates, and project status reports.
4. Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, designers, and clients.
5. Review and approve engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
6. Use your expertise in RFI to solve complex engineering problems and improve project outcomes.
7. Ensure all projects adhere to safety regulations and quality standards.
8. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is desirable but not required.
2. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the water and wastewater industry.
3. Proficiency in Procore, P6, Microsoft Office, and RFI.
4. Strong project management skills, with a proven track record in leading and delivering successful engineering projects.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make effective decisions under pressure.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
7. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
8. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
