Job Details
We’re a national general contractor with a strong portfolio in healthcare construction. Our teams lead major hospital and medical facility builds across the western U.S., and we’re seeking an experienced project leader to take ownership of a high-profile healthcare project in Montana.
**Job Description:**
* Take on a leadership role within the operating unit while managing individual large-scale or complex healthcare construction projects
* Supervise and mentor project managers and project engineers, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and client expectations
* Guide project teams and serve as a key point of escalation for owner and subcontractor concerns
* Lead preconstruction efforts including budgets, estimates, scheduling, and permitting
* Oversee contract negotiation, buyout, and procurement of materials and trades
* Manage project performance in safety, quality, cost control, and timeline adherence
* Conduct site visits, lead client meetings, and handle all aspects of project closeout and warranty follow-up
**Qualifications:**
* 5+ years of commercial project management experience, with strong healthcare background
* Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects (\$100M+)
* Strong understanding of medical building codes, infection control protocols, and healthcare phasing strategies
* Skilled in contract negotiation, schedule management, and cost tracking
* Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
* Must reside in Billings, MT or be willing to relocate
* Professional credentials (e.g., PE, MBA) or affiliations (AGC, ASHE) a plus
