We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager - Commercial Concrete to join our highly skilled construction team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to manage complex commercial concrete projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Manager - Commercial Concrete, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all aspects of commercial concrete projects, from initial planning and budgeting to execution, monitoring, and closure.
2. Developing and implementing project strategies and plans, identifying potential risks and issues, and devising effective solutions.
3. Leading and motivating project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
4. Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
5. Managing contracts and negotiations with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring all parties are aligned and satisfied.
6. Monitoring project progress and performance, using data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
7. Ensuring quality control measures are in place and adhered to, maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and safety.
8. Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and resolving any issues or concerns.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Project Manager - Commercial Concrete role will have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on commercial concrete projects.
3. Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods, and the latest industry trends and best practices.
4. Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and time management.
5. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with strong leadership and team-building skills.
6. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on quality.
7. Excellent contract management skills, with experience in negotiations and managing relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
9. Proficiency in relevant software, such as MS Project, AutoCAD, and other project management tools.
10. A commitment to safety and quality, with a track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
