We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our team. This is a permanent role that offers the opportunity to work on exciting large-scale construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in new construction and ground up projects, with a special focus on data centers. You will play a critical role in managing electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Electrical Project Manager, you will:
1. Oversee all phases of electrical projects from initial planning to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
2. Lead a team of electrical engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
3. Collaborate with other project managers, architects, and construction professionals to ensure that all aspects of the project are aligned and progressing as planned.
4. Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
5. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to keep them informed of progress and address any issues or concerns that arise.
6. Conduct risk management to minimize project risks.
7. Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and standards.
8. Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers.
9. Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Electrical Project Manager role will have:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role within the construction industry, specifically managing large scale, ground up, new construction projects.
3. Proven experience with data center projects is strongly preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
8. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Proficiency in project management software.
10. PMP certification is preferred but not required.
