This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, and is eager to apply their project management skills to oversee complex construction projects from conception to completion. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project, including managing the team, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing the progress of the project. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in project management in the construction sector, including all aspects of process development and execution
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment
- Solid understanding of construction management processes, means and methods
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Proficiency in using construction management software packages
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations as well as quality standards and human resources
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
