Job Details
Lead the planning, execution, and completion of complex manufacturing and engineering projects.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
Manage cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, maintenance, contractors, and vendors.
Oversee facility expansion, equipment installation, and process improvement initiatives.
Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor project costs, forecasts, and overall financial performance.
Review engineering documentation, technical deliverables, and contractor work.
Maintain project documentation and provide regular updates to executive leadership.
Coordinate with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with all applicable safety and environmental standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and productivity.
Mentor project team members and promote collaboration across departments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
PMP certification is preferred.
8+ years of project management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proven experience leading complex capital projects, facility expansions, or major equipment installations.
Experience working with both mechanical systems and chemical or industrial manufacturing processes.
Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and resource management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent leadership, communication, and technical presentation skills.
Preferred Experience
Brownfield expansion projects.
Heavy industrial, process manufacturing, or chemical manufacturing environments.
Managing multidisciplinary engineering and construction contractors.
Working directly with executive leadership on strategic initiatives.
