We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager - Multifamily for our dynamic and rapidly growing construction team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take charge of multifamily construction projects, driving them from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of multifamily construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements.
- Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and laborers.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering plans, specifications, and construction and safety standards.
- Manage the procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.
- Act as the primary customer contact for project activities, leading project review sessions with clients to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and manage them from inception to completion.
- Identify and manage project risks, including the development and execution of risk mitigation plans.
- Prepare and present project status reports and ensure the project team is informed about project progress and expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing multifamily construction projects.
- Proven track record of managing large scale projects from planning to completion.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, procedures, and industry standards.
- Strong understanding of construction law and building codes.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with complex transactions with little oversight.
- Proficient in construction management software programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, clients, and subcontractors.
- PMP or equivalent Project Management certification is a plus.
