We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. This is a permanent role where you will be responsible for leading and managing construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating projects according to predetermined timelines and budgets in the multifamily sector. If you are a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and have a strong background in construction project management in the multifamily industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the construction project team through the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept, through design, procurement, construction, and project completion.
  • Develop and control the project scope, budget, and timeline, and manage project costs.
  • Provide direction and support to the project team, ensuring all team members have the tools and support necessary to deliver projects successfully.
  • Identify and manage project risks, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure all project outcomes are in line with company standards, and comply with all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale multifamily projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in project management software.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.
