Our dynamic construction company is seeking a highly-skilled Permanent Senior Project Manager to join our team. This position is the perfect opportunity for a seasoned professional with a background in construction, who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and budget. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to effectively manage teams and resources.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
2. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timeframes, budget estimates, and resource allocation.
3. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
4. Maintain strict quality control procedures, ensuring all work meets the highest standards.
5. Manage project costs, ensuring all work is completed within the agreed budget.
6. Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
7. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the project team, fostering a positive work environment.
8. Ensure all project communication is clear, concise, and effectively delivered.
9. Identify and resolve any issues or risks that could potentially impact project delivery.
10. Oversee procurement processes, ensuring all materials and equipment are sourced in a cost-effective and timely manner.
11. Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and compliant manner.
12. Manage and adapt to project changes, ensuring minimal disruption to project delivery.
13. Interpret and analyze blueprints and technical drawings.
14. Estimate project costs and timelines accurately.
15. Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
16. Ensure all construction activities comply with legal regulations, building, and safety codes.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience of 5+ years as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
3. In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
4. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
5. Excellent knowledge of construction building codes and protocols
