We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Property Accountant with a strong background in real estate to join our growing team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment in the Accounting + Finance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of property accounting for a portfolio of multifamily properties, including apartments and units.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Property Accountant with a strong background in real estate to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of property accounting for a portfolio of multifamily properties, including apartments and units.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting activities related to income auditing, expense accounting, and asset management for assigned properties.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties.
- Conduct detailed revenue and expense budgeting and forecasting.
- Collaborate with property managers to ensure accurate and timely reporting of property operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Manage and maintain financial records in Yardi, MRI, and RealPage.
- Participate in the preparation of year-end audit and tax return schedules.
- Review and analyze property and portfolio level operating performance.
- Provide financial information and strategic insights to management to drive business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of property accounting experience in the real estate industry.
- Previous experience in a Big 4 firm (Deloitte, PwC, PricewaterhouseCoopers, EY, Ernst & Young, KPMG) is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in property management software such as Yardi, MRI, and RealPage.
- In-depth knowledge of multifamily properties, including apartments and units.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
