As a Permanent Senior Property Accountant in the Construction industry, you will be joining a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering excellent service and creating value for our clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of properties, including affordable housing, apartments, units, student housing, and mixed-use properties. You will be responsible for the financial management of these properties, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee financial operations of the property portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Conduct CAM reconciliations and prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
3. Utilize Real Page software to manage property accounting processes efficiently.
4. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to affordable housing and other property types.
5. Collaborate with property managers and other stakeholders to optimize financial performance.
6. Participate in the due diligence process for potential property acquisitions.
7. Monitor and analyze property performance, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement.
8. Coordinate with external auditors and handle queries related to property finances.
9. Provide financial insights and guidance to senior management to aid strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA certification is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Proven experience with Real Page software, CAM Reconciliations, and affordable housing regulations.
4. Familiarity with various property types, including apartments, units, student housing, and mixed-use properties.
5. Strong financial analysis skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
7. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
10. A proactive approach, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
