We are currently seeking a Property Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is a position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. As a Senior Property Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our multifamily properties using Real Page software. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 2-3 years of experience in property accounting to take their career to the next level.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the financial aspects of our multifamily properties, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Utilize Real Page software to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in the preparation of property tax and insurance filings.
• Collaborate with property managers to ensure accurate and complete financial data.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist in the year-end audit process and provide necessary documentation and support.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property accounting, preferably in the multifamily industry.
• Strong proficiency in Real Page software or equivalent property management software.
• Excellent knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
