Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Lead day-to-day operations of one or more senior living properties, ensuring high standards in resident satisfaction, occupancy, and financial performance.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize property value and performance.
- Supervise and mentor on-site staff, including leasing, maintenance, and administrative teams.
- Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and variance analysis in collaboration with accounting and asset management teams.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service contracts to maintain property standards.
- Conduct regular property inspections and implement preventative maintenance programs.
- Foster a community environment that supports the unique needs of senior residents.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years of property management experience, with at least 3 years in senior living or age-restricted communities.
- Strong knowledge of market rate housing operations and financial management.
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage).
- CAM, CPM, or similar certification preferred.
