Senior Quality Assurance Manager

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to our company's ambitious growth plans by ensuring the highest levels of quality and compliance in all our processes.

The Senior Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, managing audits, and ensuring the quality of supplier parts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of FAA regulations, including FAR 21.303, FAA-PMA, 14 CFR 21.137 and Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) part 21.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the Quality Assurance team to ensure all company products and processes meet the highest quality standards.
2. Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.
3. Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations, including FAR 21.303, FAA-PMA, and 14 CFR 21.137.
4. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance.
5. Review supplier parts to ensure they meet our quality standards.
6. Lead quality assurance training programs for staff.
7. Identify areas for quality improvement and propose innovative solutions.
8. Work closely with other departments to integrate quality assurance into all areas of the company.
9. Respond to quality issues in a timely and effective manner.
10. Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Senior Quality Manager, or Quality Manager in the aviation industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations, including FAR 21.303, FAA-PMA, 14 CFR 21.137, and Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) part 21.
4. Proven experience with FAA PMA compliance.
5. Demonstrated experience conducting audits and inspections.
6. Strong knowledge of supplier parts and quality assurance.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
8. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Proficiency in using quality assurance software and tools.
11. Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) would be a plus.
