Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Interpret technical drawings using GD&T to validate and inspect product dimensions
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for nonconformance issues
  • Support and participate in NRV (Nonconforming Review and Validation) teams
  • Maintain and improve quality documentation, records, and reports
  • Interface with production and engineering teams to address quality concerns in real time
  • Drive initiatives that integrate performance metrics with quality systems
  • Assist in internal audit functions (a plus, but not required)
  • Contribute to fostering a quality-first culture across the plant floor

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and at least 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role
  • Strong working knowledge of GD&T and interpreting technical drawings
  • Proven background managing corrective actions and handling nonconformance reports
  • Comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing environment full-time
  • Experience in cross-functional teams focused on quality and process improvement
  • Internal auditing experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with performance-driven quality practices is highly desired
  • Exposure to maritime manufacturing is a bonus, but not required
