Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails and TypeScript.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain cutting-edge.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails and TypeScript.
Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries and APIs.
Solid understanding of front-end and back-end development principles.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
Location: Remote with potential for occasional on-site meetings in the Mid-Atlantic region
