In the role as a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in building high-quality, innovative, and performant software that aligns with industry standards and best practices.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide technical leadership, bringing best engineering practices to all phases of large-scale engineering initiatives
• Work cross-functionally with support agents, other engineers, designers, QA, and product managers to drive product and process improvements
• Design and execute new user-facing features and applications
• Improve observability by identifying logging and monitoring improvements
• Build test automation to ensure quality release after release

What you bring to the team:

• 5+ years of experience building, fixing, and scaling web apps
• Experience as a Full-Stack Engineer
• Experience working on large refactoring/re-engineering projects
• Hands-on experience with Python
• AWS cloud experience

Applicants will need to be comfortable working in the office 2-3x a week in either Chicago or Washing D.C.
