We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Fintech startup in San Francisco. This role goes beyond traditional software development, offering opportunities to influence product design, strategy, and management. You will collaborate closely with a small, dedicated team of engineers, founders, and business development professionals to transform ideas into impactful digital solutions.

- Full-Stack Development: Design and implement comprehensive features, from data modeling to frontend and backend development.
- UI Excellence: Create precise, high-quality UI components using React and Tailwind.

- Project Leadership: Deconstruct product requirements into clear, actionable engineering tasks.
- Innovation: Collaborate with the CTO to explore and integrate emerging technologies.

Job Details
Qualifications:
- Must be based in the SF Bay Area and able to work in-person in San Francisco at least 3 days per week.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience at an early-stage startup or with a significant side project where you led product development from concept to launch (0 to 1).
- At least 6 years of professional experience in a full-stack or frontend-focused role, with strong proficiency in Typescript, React, GraphQL, and NodeJS. Experience with Google Firebase, NextJS, and functional programming is a plus.
- Strong design sense and product intuition, with a keen eye for visual detail.
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines with high accountability and reliability.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Positive, curious, and passionate about technology and product development.
