As a Permanent Senior Software Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Designing, coding, and debugging applications in various software languages.
2. Leading the design and development of high-quality software products and solutions.
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
4. Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
5. Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs.
6. Contributing to team meetings and offering innovative ideas for product development.
7. Developing and directing software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
8. Maintaining an understanding of the latest web applications and programming practices.
9. Leveraging AWS cloud services to develop and deploy applications.
10. Participating in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the position of Permanent Senior Software Engineer, candidates will need to meet the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
3. Proven experience with Ruby on Rails (RoR), Typescript, and React.
4. Solid understanding and experience with AWS.
5. Experience in a startup environment is highly desirable.
6. Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach.
7. Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture.
8. Experience with test-driven development.
9. Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review.
10. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
