- Collaborate closely with the founding team and early customers to build a world-class, API-driven platform
- Solve complex technical challenges from end-to-end—design, build, deploy, maintain
- Own architectural decisions and technology selection (we’re language- and tool-agnostic)
- Shape tooling, processes, and a high-performing engineering culture
- Mentor future engineers as we grow
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science (or related)
- 4–8+ years of experience as a backend/full-stack engineer in high-growth startup or related
- Strong autonomy in designing and launching production-grade services
- Backend experience with 1 of these languages: Typescript, Python, or Go
- Expertise with API design, building processing pipelines, or systemic integration of external systems
- Excellent communication skills and collaboration mindset in early-stage teams
- Experience building, shipping (0 to 1) a product or product features and scaling such systems
Bonus Points
- GitHub and side projects - big plus
- Ex Founder experience is a big plus
- Insurance industry domain experience is a plus
- Experience with Node.JS and Puppeteer are a plus
