Senior Staff Accountant

At our organization, we proudly support a growing collection of wine estates in the heart of Napa Valley, each carrying a rich legacy in Napa Valley winemaking. Additionally, we've introduced four new brands anchored by distinct estate vineyards, all committed to traditional winemaking and natural farming techniques.

Job Details:

• Prepare and post various journal entries, including intercompany, prepaids, and recurring entries.
• Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts for multiple entities.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations for multiple affiliated entities.
• Assist with all accounting-related systems and processes.
• Manage intercompany activity within the organization.
• Support the Corporate Controller with reporting and analysis tasks.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, reporting, and analysis.
• Take on additional ad hoc projects and reporting as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting work experience preferred, with a successful track record within an organization.
• Experience in the wine industry or other Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector is a plus.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Navision or Business Central, is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and its interaction with managerial accounting.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills with the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
